Hey y’all! The designers and testers have been working hard on the first collection of 2017! Starting today and into next week we will share more with you! Today is a bit of inside into how this collection came about!
When we start the planning process of our collections we find a season, a style or fabrics (or all of those things) to create a mood. This is my favorite part of the planning process. Seeing the way everything comes together makes me so giddy!
We were originally calling this collection “Winter 2017”. That quickly changed once all the looks were drawn out! We knew that this collection was destined to be re-named, thus the “Boho Collection” was born.
I found this while looking for inspiration for Boho looks. I think we hit the nail on the head with our designs!
“bo·ho. noun. The definition of boho is a shortened form of bohemian, meaning someone who doesn’t conform to society and is often focused on art. An example of boho is someone who wears unique clothes and holds art as their focus above all else.” Retrieved from http://www.yourdictionary.com/boho
Once we decided on the looks for the collection, we knew that Art Gallery would have the fabrics we needed to bring this look to life! Fabric pairing can make or break a look. The fabrics we chose are able to paint the exact feel we wanted! I have ALWAYS had a special spot for April Rhodes Arizona and paired with her Bound line, they were just what we wanted!
I hope y’all love the feel of this collection as much as we do! Stay tuned this week for more insight into our Boho Collection!
