Simple Hem Hack
In the tutorial, Janie uses a super simple facing to finish the curved hem. But sometimes facings can take up extra fabric that you simply might not have. Or, you may just not want that extra step of adding the facing and then hemming. Either way this hack has you covered! Follow along as Ashley H. shows you how to effortlessly sew a simple hem for your curved hem Janie skirts!
Drawstring Hack
This hack has soooo much potential. Not only does it look great on this cropped Janie, it would work on the hem of practically any top or tee. I’m looking at you, Finn 👀 . Check out the video below to learn how to add a drawstring hem to the hemline of your favorite top!
Relaxed Skirt Hack
Here is another hack that is just teeming with potential! In this video, Ashley goes over how to add additional width to the Janie skirt pattern for a more relaxed fit AND how to add an elastic waistband. These hacks don’t just work for Janie though, they could work for lots of your favorite skirt patterns!
