The Aspen skirt pattern is a twirly ruffle skirt. The fold over ruffle gives this full skirt a bit of extra weight which adds to the twirl and swirl appeal. This skirt swishes and swirls with every step. The elastic waistband is comfortable and the slight drop waist works easily with tops tucked into the waistband or not.
