Now who's ready for a fun, quick hack to add a faux bow to Mira?!

 

 

Step 1:

Sew up your Mira Sweater following the instructions from the tutorial. 

 

 

Step 2:

Measure out a piece of fabric for your bow piece. For mine I did a 4.5" x 22" rectangle. You can make it smaller or larger depending on your preference.

 

Step 3:

Place your bow piece right sides together and sew up the sides leaving a 2" opening for turning. Trim the seam allowance and clip the corners. 

 

Step 4:

Turn right side out and press well. Close the opening with your machine or a ladder stitch.

 

Step 5:

Find the center of your bow piece and mark it with a pin or clip. Then align the bow piece so the center matches up with the side seam. 

 

Step 6:

Sew your bow piece in place stitching back and forth a couple times to secure. Tie your bow and you are all set!
