Midge's enclosed side seams may seem like magic, but they are actually super simple to sew!

The fully lined bodice is so comfy to wear and is one of my favorite features, especially with how easy it makes hemming. The way it is sewn makes sure that the lining doesn't budge when constructing it and wearing it (because honestly there are few things worse than wonky layers on the skin). I made several in my stretchiest fabrics like modal and bamboo spandex and still had zero issues when it came time to hem.

Side seam wizardry doesn't have to be scary! If the written tutorial for Midge's fully lined bodice isn't quite enough, we have a video on our Youtube channel to clear any confusion right up!

If you're ready to give it a try, check out the YouTube construction video below to help get you started!

Note From the Designer

Midge was such a fun pattern to create! Who doesn't love a good tee pattern, especially when it includes so many options? I know I have already made several with plans for even more.

I hope that you enjoy putting your own spin on this style and share with us on socials. I can't wait to see what you make with it!
