Grab your Knits

Midge needs a minimum of 50% 4-way stretch fabric, like cotton spandex jersey, rib knit, modal spandex jersey, DBP, etc. If your fabric has less stretch than required it will not have the intended fit and will end up too tight. If it does not have enough vertical stretch, it will fit shorter than intended and the neckline will not sit at the correct height.

Play with textures and prints for a unique look that can be worn for anything to a trip to the gym or a night out. Take advantage of that second layer and use a sheer fabric for your main. Use a stretch mesh, lace, or burnout fabric for your sleeves and main bodice and pair with a coordinating solid for your lining to create a fun layered look. Or choose a stretch velvet or velour for a soft glam vibe. Take Midge to the gym with athletic knits like peached performance or ABP, or keep it simple with a nice jersey. The possibilities are endless!
