This unisex pattern seamlessly blends sporty style with functionality, making it the perfect addition to any active wear collection. Whether you're hitting the gym, going for a run, or embarking on an outdoor adventure, the Echo Active Shorts have you covered.

The Echo Active Shorts use the PSCo Unisex Size Charts and they got a fresh update to match our standard Adult & Kids Size Charts! Please make sure that you are remeasuring and resizing yourself and your littles because the sizing is a bit different!

How to Style your Echo Active Shorts

The Echo Active Shorts are incredibly versatile and can be styled in numerous ways to fit any occasion.

Let's explore how to style Echo!

Active Wear:

Pair the shorts with a moisture-wicking tank top and your favorite sneakers. The inseam pockets and optional zipper pocket are perfect for holding your cards, keys and phone, while the optional drawstring ensures your shorts stay put during activities.

Outdoorsy:

Choose the longer lengths for added coverage. Pair with a comfortable t-shirt, sunglasses and hiking boots. The elastic waistband and angled side slit hem offer the flexibility.

Casual:

The simple design in a neutral color can easily transition to everyday wear. Combine with a casual tee and slip-on shoes for a laid-back look perfect for running errands or relaxing at home.

What sizes ranges is Echo available in?

The Echo Active Shorts are available in both Unisex Kids (2T-18) and Unisex Adult (XXS-5X) sizing. The size charts are different than our regular Kids and Adults size charts so make sure you measure and check the size chart!

What file formats are available for this pattern?

Like with all our newer patterns, you can enjoy A4/Letter Print Pages, A0 File, and Projector formats.

The projector file for this pattern includes a 1" grid for easy calibration and unfolded/mirrored pieces!

What type of fabrics is Echo drafted for?

Echo is drafted for knit or stretch woven fabrics with at least a 30% two way stretch. Possibilities are endless and there are so many great options for these!

What notions needed for this pattern?

Interfacing (type will depend on your type of fabric), elastic (1.5" or 2"), and an optional zipper if you are choosing to do the front zipper pocket. Wash away hem or zipper tape is also helpful for keeping the zipper in place while sewing!
